Because there is no other girl in the world that embodies big sister, little sister, best friend, hairdresser, haircutter, hairchanger, loyalist, defender, supporter, coworker, and booze buddy as much as Kymi Jo Aeschliman. 

She’s my favorite accessory. 

I can’t rightfully say “friend” when people ask me how I know Kymi because just friends don’t let you live with them rent free for six months during a life panic. Just friends don’t chop all your hair off drunk AND MAKE IT LOOK GOOD after your first heartbreak. Just friends don’t perform wedding ceremonies for each other. Just friends don’t text each other just “hi” just cause. 

Kymi taught me how to put on blush and rock red lipstick because men like women who look fertile, even if they don’t realize it. Kymi taught me how to do my hair because curls freaked every other hair person out throughout my early adult life. Kymi made me love my job at Starbucks way before I loved it on my own. Kymi is the reason I’m wearing a giant poofy dress with a huge bow and glitter while I write this. 

Just friends are just…friends. Kymi is the greatest addition to my life, and for her, I would do anything, because for me, she would do anything.
